Then I dreamed that I ran downstairs and had just time to
hide myself when you, Mr. Fox, came in dragging a young lady by the hair. And
the sunlight glittered on her diamond ring as she clutched the tapestry where I
lay hidden, and you drew your sword, and cut off the poor lady's hand."
Then Mr. Fox fixed Lady Mary in his stony gaze and his smile
broadened just a little as he repeated, in whispering voice that could scarcely
be heard: "But it is not so, dear heart, and it was not so, and God forbid
it should be so!" Then Lady Mary stepped closer to him, and the smile left
her face, and her voice rang as she cried:
"But it is so, and it was so,
Here's hand and ring I have to show."
And with that she pulled out the poor dead hand with the
glittering ring from her skirts and pointed it straight at Mr. Fox ...Less…
“My darling, my darling, I would never do that to anyone”
“But you did I saw it; I saw the whole
thing!”
Mr fox had to contain his anger, then he could let it all
out on the day of the marriage.
“Then I walked past the well created tapestries and came
across a room.”” I turned the door handle and the door creaked … I opened it
slowly with my eyes closed shut. I opened my eyes and there was a room full of
dead women all in white wedding gowns, some with no heads some with no arms
some without a body…. “
Mr fox was getting very aggravated very quickly but knew he
had to hold it in ... What if his plan didn’t work? but Mary is stupid. Or is
she?
“I still want to marry you, don’t get me wrong but it’s just
that I didn’t think you were that type of person. from what I’ve heard from my
friends and what I’ve seen I am not at all happy”
Mr Fox said in an aggravated but calm tone “My darling don’t
be stupid . they were killed by someone else...”
“WHAT ABOUT THE GRAVESTONES WITH ALL OF YOUR FAMILYS AND OLD
WIVES NAMES ON THEN?”
Mr Fox looked suspicious and knew all of it was true ... but
kept it to himself
“When we get married, will you
do that to ME! “
“Of course not, why would you
say that my dear?!”
“Well I believe all of my
friends and why would I trust a man like you?”
And with that Lady Mary ran
outside to go back to her friends as she saw them waiting cautiously outside.
As fast as he could, Mr Fox ran outside with a knife and cut her face. She hung
on to the moss covered wall with dear life when she felt a painful tug at her
wrist as the knife sliced right through it and it fell to the floor. Her
friends ran to help her but didn’t want to get to close.
“Help ME!” cried Lady Mary
“NO, NO ONE WIL HELP YOU”
replied Mr Fox with a hysterical laughter.
Then Lady Mary fell to the floor
in agony whilst her friends sat there trying to help her buy putting their
shirts around her arm with the faint sound of sirens in the background.
The police arrived and took Mr
Fox away with them. He was laughing, this I what he wanted, her to be DEAD.
Her friends cried sitting in
hospital being told;
“I have news. She has passed, she
bleeds to death on the way to the hospital but we appreciate all of your help
before we arrived, you were fantastic friends “
With that the friends, hand in
hand, walked out the hospital feeling proud that they helped but upset because
their best friend had died.
Lady Mary was never to be wed…
