Macbeth 1

The Play of  Macbeth starts with Macbeth and Banquo in the forest and they see 3 witches hovering around the bush . This should make the audience feel tense and scared about what will happen . This play will be very tense and it might make a chill go through the audiences spines . This makes the audience scared. I believe that i spoke my lines with tension and made them very clear projecting my voice with the line " Who is thee " which is supposed to be spoke with bravery. My group created tension on a windy heath by making small sound effects making it sound windy with our voices at the start. We created tension by having breaks in our lines making the audience wait for what is going to happen . We could of made our lines louder by creating more tension with the volume.

Ernies Incedible Illucinations "Task2" Inproved

To prepare the actors i would hot seat them to put them in the role of the character. Also it would help them understand the role of the character and what their objective is .Some of the questions i would ask would be:
Tell me about your character- i would get to know their character
What are your surroundings?- I would know the atmosphere that should be created
What does your character want? - i would find what their character wants
I would ask these questions because then I get to know their character well and know how to direct them with a proper story line.
Atoning text can help develop a play because you are breaking up a sentence/phrase to find  the verb which tells you what the character is doing so they get a better understanding of the play. Also it can help because if you are doing a really long play for eg. Othello then if you break down a scene it can also be seen as loads of short plays in one which can make it look broken up in the play but if you start to merge the small parts together it will make a flowing play that dosent look broken up and unprepared. This will create relationships between the characters as they work through actioning the text together so not only do they know what they are doing they know what the other actors are doing as well. The tension is created by actioning text because if you look at the lines it will imply the emotions that are coming from the text because when you do actioning text you put yourselves in the characters shoes and REALLY think about what the character feels and when and why they want it
I think that they could improvise an important part of their life as they would remember it well and would not need to practice it at all. I think from this, the actors could learn that not everything looks better, when it is practiced and that without practice some things look better than others do as it can come out more comical.
Actoning text could help a play come together because then everyone would understand what is going on in the play as the actors say it as a character. In addition, it would make the play a bit easier to perform, as they would know what is going on with the characters and what they are doing, so they can focus on the way they say it and their body movement. Some of the actions they could do is some threatening moves as the mum goes into the rink to fight. In addition, Ernie and Dad could look scared for mum as they feel like they will not do very well.
I think it would be quite effective if Ernie stood with his dad waiting for his mum to come out of the ring so it looks like he is scared as most children stand with their parents when they are nervous or scared. It would be quite effective if Mum stood in a daring or tainting way as it fits perfectly with her threatening voice. Ernie’s mum should probably move around in a taunting way to make it look like she is not scared at all.
I feel like if we try a technique of focusing on one thing every week , progressively we will be pefect at every thing for eg.
Our 5 week span of practice
·         1-Words
·         2-Comedy
·         3-Where the audience is
·         4-Timing
·         5- Stage position
If you try something like this then you will be good at every thing in your play

To show that the audience know what is going on we can embed things into the characters lines to show what is going on . we can also have a witty narrator as it is a comedy show which can inform people what is going on while they have the comedy sill put in there.
